Just because I gave it a four star that doesn't mean there's something better. Very intuitive I've used this since day one. The missing star is for the fact that when you want to freeze a videos frame it needs to freeze at that place and not to jump after a second or so, and the other reason I wish there was an option to purchase additional codecs. The price of that video player itself is definitely worth the price and some.
When this app first came out it was very good, nowdays it doesn't even work, waste of app
Cannot play old mpeg format. Player should be able play as many formats as possible like other video players. For folder where video are, one have to type complete folder path which is inconvenient. One is only allowed to type one path.
Awesome Player. I use it since years and it has great features still to be found on other players. However, the most recent update has introduced some bugs. I.e. When pressing the back key to stop playing a video, it takes several seconds before the player responds. When deleting a video, the application quits and the file is not deleted. That's definitely a bug and wasn't the case in the old release. Also the app cannot be invoked from other apps like "x-plore"

A great android video player.
I'm so nice, which partly is why I'm giving 5 stars. But maybe 5 stars are deserved, we'll see. I used Act 1 for years without problem, but bought a new phone and Act 1 was no longer compatible. That was several years ago and I have since updated to a newer phone. To my surprise, I found that Act 1 is compatible. What makes Act 1 so important to me is that it has 'bookmarks' and 'replay A-B'. Two features that I use a lot, but for some reason none of the other video players seem to offer!
You make me get google play store (rooted and deleted)...cuz u expired my paid license....
this is a really fantastic app. you can load all your movies onto your microSD card and watch them on the plane or wherever else you happen to be. there are so many options and so many ways to easily manipulate the app via the touch screen. I have been using this app for years and I love it. definitely worth the cost
